David Horton

David Horton’s brand is a story of love. Anticipating the release of his late wife DeeDee’s upcoming book, David needed to curate a personal brand to represent his wife’s legacy, his learnings by her side and through her book, and ultimately empower female narratives and champion women’s strength.

Nostalgia, love letters, growth, and empathy were the central and pivotal themes. The brandmark is intentionally old school, using Deedee’s handwriting that was recreated from the letters she wrote to David in her last few days.  A lot of their old imagery was upscaled and recreated using AI.

DeeDee’s book Layer Upon Layer’s design was a separate project that complimented the David Horton brand and worked in tandem with its themes.
